Week five

September 29th, 2008

Today has been such an off day for me. I felt so thrown off because I got in late today and forgot some of my things for my lesson. I felt like my mentor teacher was disappointed in me and my lesson. I just am so off today and I did not enjoy teaching. I hate that feeling. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

October 2nd, 2008

Today I went on my first field trip with my class. It was so fun, but a lot of work. The kids loved being at the fire station and we're pretty good. They asked a lot of questions and the firefighters were very patient and kind to them. They all got little firemen hats as well. It was very cute. I think if I were to do a field trip like that I would have made groups for the kids so that it would be a little more organized.
