The First week...or so

Do I feel different starting this semester than last semester?
Yes, I do feel different starting this semester because I feel more prepared to start this year, because this time, I know what to expect. I felt so prepared going into the classroom today as opposed to being scared out of my mind and not knowing what to expect. I fell like I'm being thrust into the classroom and I enjoy it! I have so much more experience now and I feel less like a student and more like a teacher.

The natural learners in our school are eager to learn, yet can be held back in their desire to learn. We need to lead our students into a realm of discovery and allow them to question and lead themselves to discovering the answers on their own.
Conditions that support and enhance learning are conditions that create a welcoming and safe environment.
I believe that learners gain and maintain their perspective in learning when they are involved in their own learning. I also think it's important for students to feel that what is being taught to them is important and relevant to them.
