I really love Mr. Macias' class. I feel like I'm learning a lot and gaining a lot of experience. Mr. Macias has a few kids who need a lot of guidance and reinforcement in the classroom. It's giving me a lot of practice with classroom management. After this class I think I will have a lot of knowledge of how to get my students' attention and back on track. I also like how Mr. Macias uses stars as behavior markers. When a child misbehaves he turns the star over and the student loses their classroom privileges.

I feel like lately the kids have been so off the wall. I feel like it is harder to keep their focus on whatever I may be teaching.Despite feeling a little overwhelmed by their craziness at times, I love the kids. I feel comfortable in this classroom and feel like maybe I could teach this grade (2nd grade)in the future.
